Featuring a full engine build with an aftermarket turbo kit, this MX-5 offers a huge amount of bang for the buck. It may be missing some front fenders, but there is no arguing that in terms of weight savings, that beats even the best carbon fiber. While this build seems to be pretty far along, the seller states that it still needs a new differential which is still stock and not strong enough to hold up to the added grunt.
