An upgraded air filter and stage 1 ECU tune round out the modifications on this stock yet already capable Golf R. This example was optioned as a slicktop with HID headlights and the paint still shows well despite its age. With all-wheel drive and a surprising amount of cargo space with the rear seats folded flat, this is the type of sport utility vehicle we like spending our time in – especially on the twisty bits of tarmac.
