The Build
Overview
This Rio Yellow AP2 S2000 is a well-sorted driver and benefits from a K&N intake and a high flow catalytic converter to help it breathe better. It has seen some recent work to keep it running strong including new brake pads, spark plugs, and fresh fluids all around. We think this example could serve well as a weekend canyon carver or as a solid foundation for a more serious track build.

- •Holes in trunk from wing, currently covered with yellow vinyl wrap
- •OEM AP2 factory spoiler with clear coat failure on original paint
- •Front fender liners have worn spots from tire rubbing
- •Front left fender had some tire contact and it chipped some paint off
- •Paint on the mirrors has faded
- •Side strakes have significant rock chips and rubber has some separation
- •Soft top has one small tear that was sewed and patched
- •Soft top interior is sagging
- •One rear brake caliper has surface rust but functions properly
- •Typical starter screech in cold weather
- •Header is missing upper heat shield
